St. Joseph's Sr. Sec. School, is an English Medium co-educational school, established by the Franciscan Capuchins of the Province of Krist Jyoti in North India, administered and managed as a Minority Educational Institution through ST. FRANCIS SERVICE SOCIETY (No. 2650 of 2012) registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 as amended by Punjab Amendment Act 1957.

The school was opened on 24 March 2003 in Bharariwal village, opposite FCI Godown on the Chabal Road about 4 Km from Amritsar Bus Stand. The sisters of Charity of St. Capitanio and Gerosa has been with the school from the very beginning. The school got NOC on 30th June 2010, and provisional affiliation on 29th June 2012. Admission to school is open to children from all sections of the society.
